Hint 1 – Purpose
Before you buy a computer you just really think about some important things in order to prevent a tragedy later. Ask yourself:
- What is the primary purpose of my new computer?
- How much money do I want to spend?
After you found the answers for those two questions we got the tendency for the necessary hardware of you new system. There are three main tendencies:
- Work
- Play
- Video cut (or generally the work with really big files)
Category Work:
In this category you don’t need an expensive system. Here we don’t have high system requirements so average components are needed.
Category Play:
If you want to play with you new computer you need a really fast processor, a game graphics-adapter and an extra amount of RAM. All this also guarantees you high refreshment rates for your screen which is good for you eyes.
Category Video Cut:
In this case you need an extra large hard disk and much RAM as well as a fast processor. Other components are primarily not that important because in this category it is important to handle really big files.
What exactly you need to pay attention for when buying the single components will be explained in the following hints.
Hint 2 – Mobile or Local
Let’s decide now whether you want to stay mobile, or if you want to keep your computer always home.
If you’re for example a busy business man we recommend choosing the mobile category because that way you can take you new computer always with you.
If you decided to get a game or video cut computer you should take a local computer, because laptops don’t offer that amount of space, and eventually you need some rather big components.
Think about it twice where and how you want to use your new computer before you decide whether you want a laptop or a local computer.
